Here are some of the tributes that have been paid to Mrs Anderson from other former London Hospital Nurses and friends .....

'Mrs Anderson was the Senior Tutor for Set 446 that I was in. She always talked so affectionately about her son and daughter. The retort she always gave if someone said 'DVT' was "Is that Dirty Vest & Trousers?" even back in 1977 she was leading the way with the importance of not using abbreviations. A good lesson to learn and one that has stayed with me. Mrs Anderson was a lovely Senior Tutor to have I will remember her for always'. Jane Stokes 14.06.14

'Her saying which for the life of me is escaping my brain right now, will be back with it soon, something about paws!! ...... Oh yes...I remember her hate of abbreviations. Remember visiting her in Putney at her new job. Excellent woman'. Pip Jones 14.06.14

'Sad news a wonderful lady , sharp mind and sharper wit.Set 451 will remember her'. Julia Shellard 14.06.14

'So sad. Mrs Anderson was my tutor ( set 442 )and an inspiration. Remember her saying ' just because there is snow on the roof, it doesn't mean there isn't a fire in the cellar!' I went to see her when she was in charge at The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in Chelsea. Carl Curtis took all the ward sisters in his team.It was a lovely surprise as I didn't know she was working there'. Sue Hubbard 15.06.14
