Ursula BrinnIt is with great sadness that I bring you the news of the sudden death of Ursula Brinn on 9 January 2013. Ursula (Urky to her friends) trained at The London in 1962. An active member of the RLH League of Nurses and a member of the Executive Committee

Ursula Brinn went to St Mary's Covent Grammer School in Woodford Green leaving in 1960 to train as a Nurse at The London Hospital, Whitechapel. Ursula staffed on Royal Ward where Denise Le Voir worked with her as a Student Nurse.

Ursula left The London in 1973 to take up the post of Charge Sister at Prince Henry's Hospital in Melbourne Australia. Returning to the UK in 1975 to work as Sister on Grange Ward at Hillingdon Hospital. In 1986 Ursula worked as the Surgical Operations Manager there for the following 6 years. In January 1993 Ursula took up the post of Ward Sister at Thames Valley Nuffield Hospital. In 2004 she semi-retired and continued to work as a Staff Nurse at Spire Thames Valley Hospital till her death on 9 January 2013.
