The League of Nurses is sad to announce the death of Anne Gee, Vice President. Anne began her training in 1956. After qualifying Anne went onto have a long career in midwifery. Roles included senior midwifery officer for community midwives in Luton, head of midwifery at Luton hospital and nurse advisor to the trust. In retirement Anne sat as a Justice of the Peace. For many years she also edited The Review.
There will be a private funeral service and a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
